JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Prästamosseskolan has a football academy for students in grades 7-9, which is a collaboration between Skurup Municipality and Malmö FF. We are now looking for a football coach who, together with physical education teachers, will be responsible for training within the academy. In addition to regular teaching, students have three football sessions each week with teachers/coaches who work at the school - and instructors from the football club Malmö FF (MFF). We are looking for someone who is a UEFA-certified coach and has coaching experience with youth. You should also be interested in working within other school activities, which may involve working on schedule-breaking days, supporting students in teaching, supervising during breaks, and overseeing changing rooms and transitions between sports and classroom instruction. The role also includes planning and conducting study visits, tournaments, and lectures with students.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed high school education, is a UEFA-certified football coach, and has coaching experience with youth.

As a football coach, you should possess several important personal qualities to effectively lead and inspire young players:

• Communication skills - The ability to explain instructions clearly and listen to students' needs and questions.
• Empathy - Understanding and empathizing with players, which helps build trust and a positive environment.
• Leadership - The ability to motivate and inspire students to work towards goals and collaborate as a team.
• Flexibility - The ability to adapt training methods and strategies based on students' needs and group dynamics.
• Positive attitude - Maintaining a positive and encouraging environment, even when the group faces challenges.
